Pierogi

**Quick Polish lesson: pierogi is plural; pieróg is a single one. So for all of you who say pierogis, start saying pierogi and use your new found knowledge to teach others.

One of the best things about spending six weeks in Poland is treating my taste buds to my mother-in-law's amazing cooking. Since my first trip to Poland and my first taste of REAL pierogi, I have been unable to enjoy frozen Mrs. T's Pierogi (Wegmans makes semi-decent pierogi).

Anyway, last night my mother-in-law made pierogi filled with wild blueberries. She put them on our plates, topped them with sour cream and they were delicious! What a sweet, sweet, summer treat :o)

  1. So, you're learning to make them for our first First Friday when you get back, right? ;)
